| Singer Songwriter Edwin Meijster writes his own material from the moment he could hold a guitar. He discovered his own style by collaborating with other songwriters and by stretching the boundaries of various styles of songwriting. As singer and musician of various groups he developed a versatility which can be heard in his recent material and performance. After having been in the top 100 charts with the single Save My Soul by the band Superglue ( 2000 ) Edwin further develops his style to what it is nowadays. He writes catchy popsongs with a rocky edge. His songs are distinguished by tuneful melodies with a surprising chord structure. Each song is an "Aha experience", that sounds familiar but is also fresh and dynamic. His lyrics are identifiable and appeal to everyone. Edwin has a warm, versatile, flexible voice: distinctive by it’s own unique sound.
