About "me"? Why the name "Urbanmonk"? To me, Urbanmonk, simply means being a Christian - To be in the World and yet, not a product, nor commodity of it. I just know Jesus is the way, I just know Jesus is the truth, I just know Jesus is the life, I just know that Jesus is my God. Anachronism is a good description of me.... of what era, I do not know?? Intellectually adventurous. Theoretical. Conceptual. Dissident. An Hourglass of Curiousity. Stealth fighter for the cause - I'll peel back the layers. Counter to the dystopian world system the devil has a temporary control over. I despise vanity, people who morf to the influence of their peers, corporate sell outs, fakes, cheats, liars, betrayers, ALL who are easily influenced by the enticements of "worldly entertainment", image chasers... it's PANDEMIC! (these things I mention are the "characteristics" that I despise - it is not the "people" I despise, but rather their choice of behaviors). I GREATLY respect honesty, loyalty, faithfulness, intelligent individuality, and those who are NOT victims of mass marketing.... especially "Religion". Outside of the box - Boxes, well, they box us in. They rob us of life, they anesthetize us, they limit us, they blind us. Boxes, after all, are what they bury us in. The report, published by Iraq Body Count in association with Oxford Research Group, is based on comprehensive analysis of over 10,000 media reports published between March 2003 and March 2005.Findings include: Who was killed? 24,865 civilians were reported killed in the first two years. Women and children accounted for almost 20% of all civilian deaths. Baghdad alone recorded almost half of all deaths. Music:Could be just about anything depending on the mood. Though I hate the "yo yo yo baby" hip hop, rape music crap! My musical interests are far too varied to list. I can listen to, and appreciate just about all things that aren't degrading in anyway toward anyone. |

Movies:I generally wind up appreciating movies that move my heart in a way that causes me to be a better person. The movie can be as crazy and wild as hollywood can possibly emulate or create....... so long as in the end, the morality of, or change in the "bad" becomes something good. |
