About Me
HIGHLIGHTS 2000/2001 - Francisco , Hugo and another friend, visit Barcelona for New Year's Eve, they go out clubbin for four days.. They decide that is the lifestyle to go for... 2002 - Francisco and Hugo see 2Many Dj's for the first time at Lux... They decide that is what they should be doin'... 2002 - Francisco and Hugo are invited to play some tunes at Pop Up Bar by their friend Ricardo Manaia (Clube Mercado). They couldn't mix to save their lifes!! Manaia baptizes them as: The Wanna Be Dj's... 2005 - The Wanna Be Dj's play the after-show of X-Wife's concert (Dj Kitten's band). They play for a real crowd for the firts time.Punk kids, Metal Heads, Drunk boys and girls... They decide that is the kind of people they like to play to... 2006 - The Wanna Be Dj's play as headliners in the electronic tent of a summer-festival. Their gig starts soon after Patrice finishes on the main stage. They played for 5 hours to a crowd of 4000 people... Destroy Dance Music is born... 2006 - The recording of the first hour in the summer-festival gig , gives birth to a mix-tape: "We Destroy Dance Music Live!!". They are born to the internet community... 2007 - They see Justice and Busy P at Lux. They fall in love with Ed Banger... At that same night they meet The Bastards and Niguiri Beats... The first bases for "Schlank" started that night... 2007 - They meet David Dewaele and Stephen Dewaele (2Many Dj's/Soulwax). They have dinner and talk to their idols for hours. They get the pointers they allways craved for... And then they went clubbin'... They had the night of their lives... They know it's all down-hill for now on... and they're fine with it...
