August 7, 1988, in South Central ,Ca a star was born. Sean P knew from a young age he was destined to pursue a career in music. He taught himself not only the basics but also the ins and outs of the industry. He wanted to take in everything he possibly could to get were he knew he wanted to be. Around the age of sixteen ,when he moved to Las Vegas , NV , his abilities started to be noticed. He was chosen by Dynasty Records to write a song called ,"Ex Boyfriend", for a local artist. That led to Sean P and Chris Buck , an artist under Virgin Records, to have their first meeting. Soon after Chris recommended him to be the lead singer in the group "GQ" under T.U.G. management. Although the group did not last Sean gained a lot of experience and knowledge from being apart of it. Later he was offered a chance to work with Raz B , former member of B2K,and head of JMC records but after a little bit of time with them he declined. From there he decided to pursue his own label and production company ,Sexy Soul Productions.The year 2008, is proving to be a bright one. Sean is now 19 years old and taking "SSP" to new heights. he is not only still a singer and songwriter he is now a known rapper , producer , and recording engineer. He is determined to become very successful in the music industry. And he will be.
