| HOME RECORDING 2008 "All Along the Watchtower" written by Bob Dylan Wyatt - lead guitar, bass, drums Ranny- acoustic and electric guitar, vocals STUDIO RECORDINGS "Bad Luck Blues" and "Shine On" written by Ranny Garey Wyatt - lead guitar, bass Ranny - guitar, vocals Vernon Milbourne - Drums Rev. King- backing vocals "Amazing Grace" is same line up and sung by Rev. King Wyatt Garey began performing simple folk and cowboy songs with his Dad, Ranny Garey, as early as 3 years of age. By 8 & 9 years old Wyatt started figuring out more complicated songs on his own. By 10 Wyatt was playing guitar at a pro level in church and out. Because of his ability to learn at a rapid rate, Wyatt quickly took over the lead guitar position. At 11 years old Wyatt and his father joined a professional gospel group, REV. PALMER and the MESSENGERS OF HOPE, and began performing all around South Carolina. He has always been a feature player pleasing audiences everywhere with his phenomenal ability on guitar. Wyatt has also learned to play bass, drums, keyboard, mandolin, trumpet, slide guitar, and has always been singing. Ranny began playing Americana and Southern Rock shows in the 70s and into the 80s. And along with Wyatt's mother, Dana, on bass, formed a sort of retro psychedelic band in the late 80s before moving to downtown New York City. Wyatt was born in 1992. Now as the WYATT GAREY BAND their Rock N' Roll shows (including opening for the legendary Leon Russell and others) are sure to please with so many diverse styles to draw from Rock, Blues, Funk, Gospel, and more. All soulfully blended together combined with the best backing musicians the area's Gospel community has to offer. In addition to his other activities, Wyatt also played trumpet in his schools marching and symphonic band and played lead guitar in his middle school jazz band. Wyatt turns 16 on May 12, 2008. |
