PORKCHOP-guitar/vocals T-LOFT-drums ADAM DAVILA-guitar/vocals ALTON/vocalsThe history of AberrantIn the winter of 1999 Chris "porkchop"Cannell and T-Loft started writing material, they played a handfull of shows. They also recorded four songs that were never released. Todd decided to move to Alabama, after Todd left Aberrant did nothing for almost two years. Yancy was introduced to Porkchop in the summer of 2001, and became the new drummer for Aberrant. The first session we wrote two songs. Those two songs came out on a compilation called Fuck The Genre on Souless Lemming Records in March 2002. Aberrant eventually became a three piece when they adopted "Cornbread", another addition to already bad nicknames. With the addition of a new food group, they played their first show in two years in Colorado Springs in March 2002. On March 15th of 2002, Aberrant was able to sneak on to their second show with their brothers in Grind Wasteoid. Then in April of 2002, drummer "Yancy" met Aberrant's badass singer "Alton" at a Napalm Death show. In the same month, Aberrant picked up a bass player by the name of Haroldo. Now a quintet, Aberrant was becoming a force to be wreckoned with and they went on a five days tour of the mid-Western United-States. During this time, they recorded some tracks for a demo 7" on Selfish Fucker Records. Upon returning from touring, they lost the grain of their two food groups. Cornbread was replaced by our current shred-man "Nick". Shortly after the loss of Cornbread, they lost Haroldo. Aberrant percerveired and continued bass-less for a few months. Eventually, Cornbread came back and picked the bass duty. During that time, Aberrant recorded and released a split 7" record with the unholiest of the unholy Grind bands Unholy Grave, from Japan. The split came out on Selfish Fucker Records. Then they recorded two songs more for a split 7" with DHIBAC from France, on Hombre Lobo Records, which came out in 2004. After the DHIBAC split, they once again lost their bass player Cornbread. Eventually, they picked up this really badass player "Javram". Javram jammed for about six months and then they lost him too. So the guys decided that bass players are too hard to keep and they did not need one. The band has gone on to do three more tours and have since released a split CD with Fistfuck. This split CD is avaible on GWN/Grind It!.We have also since released a split 7in with Nicarauguin Death Squad on War witness, Hurt me plenty, and Selfishfuckerecords.
