THE SOCIAL MORE TUNES ON MEMPHIS RAP CLICK HERE TO LISTENI started in my youth (10yrs old) listening to the likes of Ice T, Dog n the Wax, N.W.A and Ice Cube's catalogues of albums. I started writing poetry at an early age, a diary of my thoughts growing up through a troublesome teenage life, with the experiences of drugs and alcohol to say the least. By experiencing things through drugs I found myself mixed up in a lot of madness and crazy situations. In the midst of all the craziness I often internalized feelings and when I found time on my own, I found it easy to feel through the use of a pen on paper. With no money I never had an opportunity to record my tracks and get my message across, until my friend Louis of afewdayslate , borrowed some basic equipment. The two of us found ourselves unemployed, good mates and both with a passion for music. This is when The Social was formed. Whilst recording along side Louis, I picked up enough knowledge to peruse my solo project Misplacedmind. I approach my tunes different from The Social; I have a raw style as u will notice perhaps. In the future I plan to introduce the use of more acoustic/stringed instruments into my music, because I like to approach things in different ways! Peace......CHECK OUT.. THE SOCIAL |
