At 14 years of age she joined the Beverly Hills Chilldren Choir and was featured performing in the beginning scene, with the choir, in the feature film "FACE OFF". Also that year, she sang her first two jingles that were sold to the USA Network Channel. She then moved to Mexico at the age of 15. Here is where she started performing and singing regularly. By the time she was 18 she was singing and living in Cancun, Mexico. She sang in the Hotels,Jazz Clubs, Cancun Convention Center functions, and private parties for the rich, all thoughout the Mayan Riviera. Already a professional and international singer, she came back to the USA at 20 yrs. of age to study voice at the Musicians Institute. She soon started singing at the local drum and bass clubs. 'Muse', 'Proper', 'Bluebeat' and 'Respect' with Chris Paul. Now she has commited her full time to the studio with Chris Paul. Together, Her and Chris have built a little empire licensing their music to record labels & for commercials. They have been featured in many downtempo, chillhouse compilations under the guise 'Stolen Identity' 'Stolen Identity' releases... Om:Chilled Vol. 1, Om:Chilled Vol. 2, Om Lounge Vol. 10, Om Discovery Downtempo Vol. 1, (OM Records), Ultra Lounge: Succulent Chilled Beats, (Water Music Records), Loteria Beats Vol. 1 - Raul Campos, (Nacional Records) Now getting back to drum and bass!! Chris Paul & Mia V have released 4 drum and bass tracks on the well known UK Under Construction Records label.(2006). They also have a album/vinyl release on NexGen Records. They get regular airplay on KCRW, Bassdrive, and Satellite radio. As we all know Chris Paul has many years of experience and expertise in the music biz under his belt.
