Corcidrick Thomas known rightly as "PROFIT" is one of the nations most gifted and talented young rising Master Barbers/Stylist. Starting his career as a young teenager from his mom's garage, Profit cut all of his peer's hair and anybody else that was willing to take the chance.Corcidrick eventually graduated from his home into Tennessee State University's (TSU) Campus Barber Shop, where he was the campus' most sought after barber. Profit managed to earn a reputation for being the savvy business minded barber on campus. December 2003, Profit graduated from TSU earning a Bachelors Degree in Business Management.January, 2005 Profit officially began his barbering career at Tennessee Technology and immediately began competing professionally. Profit entered his first barbering competition, the Bronner Brothers 2005 Fade Master Competition/Atlanta, GA in which he was awarded 3rd Place! In April 2005, Profit competed in the Memphis Hair Show and captured first place in both the Platform Artist and Men of Barbering Competitions! Today Profit continues to triumph the competition by victoriously winning 2nd Place in the Andis Afro Competition, Atlanta, GA,1st place in the Salon Sense 2005 Barber Boot Camp in Chicago, and also 1st place in the 2006 BronnerBros Baltimore Hair Show. In between competitions Profit resides at one of Memphis's most elite and stylish salons, A Closer Look Barber Shop. |
