Radio exposure led him to dj at some of France’s most elite clubs and events. As he emerged, his talent quickly earned guest sets and residencies at Macumba in Switzerland, La Playa in Barcelona, KU in Ibiza, Bora Bora, Copacabana / Papagayo in the south of France, Le Styliss in Auxerre/Dijon, just to name a few. In the summer of 1995, Stephan moved to Miami where he got offered the residency at BASH ,the mytical club of Sean Penn. There he compiled and mixed the Bash CD Volume 3 ,giving BASH a fresh new kick then contributed to form the " South Beach Sound " alongside local resident Robbie Rivera. Throughout the years, Stephan has been holding down various residencies in prestigious clubs all over the U.S, including the world famous Nikki Beach and Tantra in Miami Beach. As well as a monthly residency at Super club Utopia in Las Vegas,guest appearances in China Club New York City, Plush in Atlanta or "House of Blues" in New Orleans, hosting such high-profile audiences as Prince, Bruce Willis,U2, Madonna… Despite his success in the studio,Stephan is first and foremost a DJ with over 15 years experience under his belt! Over the course of his career, he has had the opportunity to share the decks and play alongside well know dj's such as Bad Boy Bill, Laurent Garnier, Dj Pedro, Eddie Thoneick ,DJ Dan, Christopher Lawrence, Antoine Clamaran, Wally Lopez, Chus & Ceballos, and the list can go on... Today Stephan is known and respected throughout France and abroad as a DJ and a music Producer,playing his fresh,hot,energetic uplifting funky house to his sexy electro grooves at some of the hottest European and international venues. PRODUCING In 1997,Stephan started his first ventures in the studio, writing and producing the track " The Concept of Love " for SFP Records who became an instant club classic played all over the U.S. Few years later, he launched his own music production company, MD Productions Inc. producing tracks for both U.S & European Music Library, later being sold for use in television, as well as remixing Jennifer Lopez " Waiting For Tonight ",Chi Chi Peralta ( Top Latin artist ) and “ Ebar “ One Track Mind “for NYC based label Sifted recordings.. In 2002, Stephan is one of the first French Artists to sign with Legendary record label based in Miami SFP Records (Sounds For People) with a first release on Deep Touch Black " African Journey “, first collaboration with French producer Samy K who led to big results! Stephan’s tribal mixes proved hugely popular among tougher DJ’s such as Hex Hector, Pete Heller, Roger Sanchez and Graeme Park. For 2 years Stephan has released numerous tracks on SFP labels, " The Tribe Has Spoken (ending up second most selling house record in Spain), appeared on compilations like " Privilege Ibiza 2003, "Sound Factory NYC", " Salon de Mezclas", just to name a few. " Marabou " who became " Single Of The Week ” in the UK and reached top 20 in DJ Mag Hype Chart. " Go Deeper " ...another big success showing a more progressive side of Stephan, co-produced with Italian DJ Nicky Scanni and Vocalist Nadia, creating a serious buzz on Beatport.com. In 2004,Saeed Younan's remix was one the Top Ten most Downloaded tracks for over 5 weeks. "Snake Charmer" was another of Stephan tribal adventure, featured on top selling compilation " Radio1 Essential Tracks " and " Glamour Mykonos " in Greece, International All-stars DJ Mag Compilation. In 2005,on his return to Europe , he relocated to Paris and started a new chapter in his music career, joining the team of the record label Club News . Stephan co-wrote " Satisfaction " with Samy K , produced “ Forever Mine “,“ Right Wrong “ and remixed " Freak U Up “. Over the past years,he has also been working closely with Chris Kaeser, remixed " Electro Phenomena " by Soft Hiss ( Sleaze Industries ) and co produced " Modulove " / " The Sun is Gonna Shine " ( Unick Records ), " We're Just Dancing “ in 2006 (Voices / PoolEmusic) and this year “ Show me love “ under the a.k.a of Digital Funk came out on U.K Based label Symphonic. Stephan been also cooking some beats with Polish Djane Nelle, signing their first collaboration track “ Deeper Harder “ to the Italian House Label Go Deeva. The track hit top 5 of the DMC World US House buzz chart and swept its way into dance floors being a staple in the sets of all major DJs ; from Mark Knight,Dave Spoon,Ben Macklin to Noir,Philippe B. In 2006, Stephan and French producer X-Boys hooked up for new music adventures releasing in order " Special Kind of Love " on Hatiras label’s Blow Media, " Do not Disturb / Move your body " two solid bleepy electro house grooves for 3am plays released on one of the finest label of the Electro House League: Opaque! " Bleeps on the Radio " on U.K label High Voltage Records been another success and on top of that Stephan and X Boys remixed Dr Flash and The Joker " In the Air " on Hit Records wich made huge waves in the Buzz Charts reaching Number 1 in U.S House Chart DMC and Number 13 in U.K DMC Nelle and Stephan M's second release together titled ” The Cucumber ” featured on high demanded Joia Miami Sampler at WMC conference,Nero as usual unveiling some of the finest global talent around Europe. Big support on that one from John Dahlback, Eric Prydz, Tiga and many mores... Last year Stephan joined forces with Sweden rising talent Mike Perry, their first release on Pool E Music “ Psychadelic “ featuring the delicious vocal of Vanity has been gaining large support from dj as diverse as Ferry Corsten,Denis the Menace,Jeroenski or Henrik B. The pair remixed 4th Child “ now I found you “ for Hit Records ( The Dance division of Universal Music), Distorded " Fuckin Voices " and Antoine Clamaran new single “ Give some Love “. Continuing to set himself ever higher standards and with increasing production and DJ demands, 2008 remains a busy year ahead.
