| Tiger Cult hails from the city of Sao Paulo, and was originally called Angry Angel. Among the noise, the pollution and the ever-growing violence of their hometown, the band forged its distinct style, delivering pure aggression that is fused with all kinds of musical influences - raging from Van Halen to Carcass. On the road since 1.996, and matured by their extensive local touring, Tiger Cult felt it was time to record their first album. Teaming up with Die Hard Records, their intention was to offer the listener a top class record, one of a high level of artistic integrity, with top notch production. Cold and Terrible, the result of this team effort, was recorded, mixed and mastered at Nimbus Studios, in Sao Paulo; and released in february 2004. The album showcases eleven songs of the purest Heavy Metal, lyrically eclectic, and filled with the necessary dose of aggression something that seemed to be missing in the local scenario. After a three-year tour, the band is completelly focused on composing and recording the next album to be called: The Worst Omen. === === | |
