About Me
The band crosses the stereotyped conception of extreme music and develops its proposal between violent numetalcore with crossroads of jazz, funky, fusion, latin pop and rockâ€™nâ€™roll. The band was born in Lecce, in the south of Italy, in 2002 and, after various line-upâ€™s changes, arrives 2006 with its definitive formation: Danilo (voice), Emanuele (guitar), Stefano (bass), Lorenzo (drums). In July 2006 they recorded the mini ep â€œThe logic disfuntion of tiny musicâ€ a mix of numetalcore/hardcore with elements of nu jazz, pop, latin etc. (The Dillinger Escape Plan, SOAD and Faith No More are the most important influences). In December 2006, the Stonecutters recorded their extract album in Red House Studio in Senigallia (Italy), the most important record-studio of Italy. Two songs of the extract album had been mixed by David Lenci, one of the most influent producer of italian and european alternative music scene, and theyâ€™ll be included in the new album that will be out in Spring 2008. In august 2007, they performed as supporter band for Extrema (the most important italian metal band) and SOULFLY (one of the biggest worldwide metal legends).
