| .. Dance MTV User =About Me= Video - video powered by Metacafe What up my name's Kristina Martinez, I'm a cancer enjoy long walks on the beach, daisies and strawberry sundaes. I am currently attending UCLA in the WAC Department. What is WAC you ask? Well let me break it down for ya...WAC stands for WORLD,ARTS,AND&,CULTURES. The advantage of pursuing a WAC degree is that the amount of information is inevitable. The world is constantly changing, cultures are constantly evolving and artists make the world go round. I feel being an artist helps you view the world from a broader perspective with more acceptance for other people, makes you a better communicator, and helps other people see the world through artist's visions. I am a dancer. I hate when people say "Oh I'm a dancer BLAH BLAH BLAH..." Well...I really AM a dancer and would love and am trying to pursue it. I've been dancing since I was about 5 and have absolutley adored every single thing about it. From ballet, to jazz, hip-hop, modern, salsa, african, trying to learn how to break, I love ALL types of dance. I also love to teach. I plan on attending the NYU Steinhart School of Education for my master's and be a inspirational arts educator. I also work at Calypso and have a new found love of fashion. We just opened an unbelievable HOME store, so now I have a new found love for decorating. I assist choreographing musicals and coordinate fashion shows for charities. I'm extremely curious and independent and love using my discipline from my dance background to learn new things. I hate talking about myself but I'm a pretty dope girl. I'm definitley chill and waaaayyy more UN-dramatic (if that's even a word) then most girls you'll meet. Maybe that's cause I'm such a stoner haha It's pretty hard to find people that are real now-a-days, especially in this town. I have such and incredible, stable family and out of this wolrd unbelievable friends who make me who I am. Well I'd like to think I'm one of those "real" people, because I'm geuine, loving, and feel extremely blessed to be on this earth. So lets take care of the earth that we're on CAUSE IT'S MELTING!
