I'd like to meet:Where are some of the other reformers? Where are Brenz, Bugenhagen, and Chemnitz? Where are those sacramentarians -- Bucer, Calvin, Zwingli, Bullinger? Are they in hiding? I'd also like to meet faithful "Lutherans" (I TOLD THEM NOT TO NAME THE CHURCH AFTER ME!) and other Christians. Also, anyone who likes to nail things to church doors. |

Music:My friends write some good stuff. Johann Walther, Kaspar Cruciger (his wife also) wrote many hymns expressing justifcation through faith. One of my favorites is "Es Ist Das Heil" ("Salvation Unto Us Has Come"). I dabble too. My "Ein' Feste Burg ist Unser Gott" ("A Mighty Fortress") is fairly popular. I also like "Aus tiefer Not schrei' ich zu dir" ("From Depths of Woe") "Erhalt uns, Herr, bei deinem Wort" ("Lord, Keep us Steadfast in your Word") and "Vom Himmel Hoch" ("From Heaven Above") |
