That's not nearly enough to pay for his family's food, clothing, medicines or schooling. It doesn't have to be like this. Al-Hassan could make a living if he could trade his rice for a decent price. Trade could help Al-Hassan - and millions of others - to make a decent living. Unfortunately, rigged rules and double standards in international trade keeps millions trapped in poverty. That is why Oxfam International launched the Make Trade Fair campaign. In the five years since its launch over 10 million people throughout the world have added their voice to the Big Noise petition.
