Some say TV is bad, i think all information is good, you..'ve just got to filter it. There is a lot of bad tv out there but these are some of the shows i like e.g. Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Coco, Palladia HD, Entourage, True Blood, Flight of the Conchords, The Office, 30 Rock, MLB, NBA, Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, Inside the Actors Studio, Family Guy Good movies are not hard to find, their just not in any theatre near you! indie flicks are cool, i like movies that don..'t quite seem to fall into any one category. Mainly movies based on real life, that is to say movies that portray human behavior realistically. e.g. Ciudade de Deus, The Darjeeling Limited, King of California, Persepolis, Star Trek, Watchmen, The Reader Music. Wow, this particular love (music) has very recently taken on a different meaning for me. I used to think i listened to what i liked and what i liked is what i listened to but then found out i wasn't really listening. I'd listen to something and "like it", but never really asked myself why. The beat? the lyrics? the melody? The hook alone? who knows right? I'd listen to hits and not whole albums and let the music find me instead of scavenging the megabytes for what best appealed. i can sit and listen through a whole album now, a good one, sit and just listen. there's probably a lot of great music out there that i know nothing of so don't judge. it takes an effort to find good music. e.g. Radiohead, Bright Eyes, She & Him, The Killers, Keane, Maroon 5, The Shins, Coldplay, Death Cab, Queen, Kanye, Jay Z, John Mayer, Matt Costa, Arctic Monkeys, Elton John, Mgmt, Dave Matthews Books are boring! maybe. until you read 3 or 4 of them and realize....sometimes you've really got nothing better to do except maybe...no you've done that already. Yes they're tedious at times, slow, unlike movies; an hour and a half and there's your story. but i think you can forget a movie, even a good one, i don't think i'll ever forget a good book e.g. The Dante Club, Einstein..'s Dreams, Ender's Game, The Persian Boy, Angels & Deamons, Memnoch the Devil, Servant of the Bones, The Catcher in the Rye Fashion... i should have been a girl. make of it what you will i don..'t really have the money to buy myself a big wardrobe or scour the streets of Beverly Hills and New York but if i did i..'d have a lot of fun doing it. It..'s not the looking good or flaunting expensive rags for status that makes fashion a lust, but more the creative output and pride in one..'s taste. the mild power to become a somewhat personality accessory. e.g classic brands like Levi..'s, Guess, Nike, DKNY, Adidas, J Crew. ACME, Urban Outfitters, Volcom, RVCA, OBEY, Kidrobot. hoodies, nylon jackets, cardigans, straight fit jeans, chinos, non-graphic tee..'s. i don..'t know much yet but it..'s hard to really shop when you don..'t have the money. it..'s all just levi..'s and a tee for now. i also like all of these things: Vlogs Blogs Apple products Vinyls Crosswords No Limit Hold Em THC when the time calls for it Alexa Chung History Kobe Bryant Journalism Blue Cold pillows Magazines Concerts Acting | |
