| Manudubsoundsystem is a project developped by manudub, who's well know as a french south underground dub activist. Manudub discovered dub very early through the punk energy from bands like The Clash, The Slits which drive him to the jamaican masters... Manu became bassist in local experimental band, playing at this time a strange crossover of dub and space music. Then came the late 80's and the acid house revolution... marss,renegade soundwave,the orb,ar kane and many others pushed dub to a new horizon, therefore it was time to buy a pair of decks and to build a home studio... Meanwhile, to pay equipement, manudub worked for many years at wax records, the indie-electronic recordshop of marseille... A perfect job to meet all local artists and more ! At the same time, he began to share a show on radio grenouille with Prince Freedom, and play eclectic dub gigs in lot of venues and festivals... The manudubsounsytem is just manudub who shares with guests this dub influence in a very eclectic attitude, also to explore various possibilities of home studio. the home studio is the instrument...then no boundaries...the sounds can be ambient, roots or wathever, the essential is to put it in the edge of dub mood... The manudubsousytem is open to other artists...such as jah k or sista k, the project is to made an album .
