| I am a mother and an aspiring poet... I find that writing illuminates my soul and sets me free... For those moments, in those words, I am free; without boundaries by which to live. Through those words and phrases, I can be anything and be anywhere. The passion that you read is me.. Is it you?Being divorced after 18 years of marriage, I met a wonderful man named Mike. Although our relationship began with an ordinary first date, it has grown to be more than anything ever expected. Mike has two wonderful kids of his own, Domineque and Coleton. Each of them as found a special place both in my life and in my heart. Mix them in with my own great kids, Mike and Kati, and we are quite the bunch.Life is what you make it, I have learned. Mike and I have had our share of lemons, but together we seem to make plenty of Arnold Palmer's out of it all and smile through the chaos that comes our way. My life as it is....

Heroes:My mother and my mommish... I lost my mother in 1990, my mommish stepped in without giving it another thought, selflessly giving of herself completely....My ex-husband.... He has faced his own demons and come out on top - rebuilding his relationships with our two great kids. Time and time again, he has shown us all what a wonderful person and father that he was meant to be.My kids.... Mike and Kati. They have been through so much in their short lives and have grown into exquisite young adults - learning the hard way that doing the right thing may not always be the easiest, but in the end, holding your head up high with the knowledge of your own decisions is more fulfilling than the need to apologize.And last, but not ever least, my boyfriend, Mike. He means the world to me. He has had the strength and courage to overcome so much adversity in his own life, to be the man that I have fallen in love with. A hard working man that hasn't lost the touch of chivalry in todays society. A man that truly adores his children and only wants the best for them - hoping that they learn through both his mistakes and wise choices. The only other person that I have had the pleasure of sharing space with that sees life the way that I do.... diversity is beautiful if you open your eyes to see all the colors of the world.
