Tombs are a horror fixated punk band who have grafted cybernetic technology onto the corpse of Rock 'N' Roll to produce a 21st Century musical monster. Prepare to head for the hills - it is alive ! We have played gigs with people such as Acid Tongue, Antiproduct, Zombina And The Skeletones,Boobie Trap (USA), Devilish Presley, Certain Death, Us Versus Them, Johnny Skyscraper, Engage, Abdoujaparov, The Threats, Cress, Dyonisis, Fake Fang, Gin Goblins, Dirty Wee Middens, The Try-Hards, The Scalies, The Technophobes, Novus UK, MAFAFI, Bus Station Loonies, Patrol, Look Left Again, Pissed On Pissed Off, Krank Solo, Degrassi, Rockatansky, Sedition, Crimedesk, Screaming Blue Murder and Lost In Vegas. We have NOT played with Sadie Hawkins Dance although we have been scheduled to on three seperate occasions - we are just cursed I guess... We have played in every lowdown dive in Scotland (and loved every one of them) and represented our country at the Whitby Gothic Weekend.A lot of Horrorpunk bands use their love for The Misfits as the main influence for their music - this isn't a bad thing, better to be inspired by something truly groundbreaking than some lame pop crap. 13 Tombs are huge Misfits fans but try and mix in a whole range of other influences into the cauldron - Garage Punk, Goth, Metal, Prog and Punk (among other things). If it rocks it rocks, if it doesn't it is taken out and sacrificed at dawn. Very few bands use the term "Rock 'N' Roll" without trying to be ironic, looking on it as some disease ridden mad uncle locked in the attic. 13 Tombs are proud to have the spirit of Rock 'N' Roll beating in their zombified hearts !!!
