| Hello Metalheadz!!! My name is Mario van Dooren, i'm a 43 year old short-haired headbanger from Berkel Enschot (nearby Tilburg), The Netherlands. My webzine, Mario's Metal Mania, started as a personal website in 2002 but after a while bands where asking me why I didnt do any reviews & interviews. The first years I started it all up and converted Mario's Metal Mania into a real UNDERGROUND webzine. Because a lot of distributors, bands, labels and managers liked what I did for the UNDERGROUND metal scene it all exploded a bit to fast for me and I recruited some help. At the moment the team is built up upon a few regular & some freelance reviewers/interviewers.
