| Get jaxtr | Login Founder member of D.Roots Records and D&H records, Hypa is a musician, riddim maker / producer, radio DJ and a sound engineer. He was born in Brittany in France. He started his music career as a percussionist for a reggae band and then continued with the D.Roots band. During this same period of time, he began to create reggae/dancehall riddims with his good friend Daddy, (also a founder member of D.Roots and D&H records). One year after forming the D.Roots band, both Hypa and Daddy got a radio programme known as D.Roots Direct. Every week the radio show allows them to spread reggae and dancehall music and make their own promotions. This same year, Hypa also went to study sound engineering in a school. As a musician for D.Roots he was able to play with artists such as U.Brown, Murray man, Chukki Starr, Tonton David, Keefaz or Straika D to name but a few..... In 2006, Hypa is still playing and creating reggae music for D.Roots, and dancehall, crunk, reggaeton, soca, rnb or rap for D&H records. He offers his skills as a musician, riddim maker, DJ and as a sound engineer. Hypa is also working as a musician for Old Capital Records, Legal Shot Records or Black Temple Records. Hypa and Daddy also mix dubplates for Legal Shot Sound (Rennes-FR),Roughrider Sound (Toronto-CA), Immortal Vybz Sound (Bermuda//CA)... They also plan to create D&H Dubplates Mix (Dubplates mix/mastering) |
