| Lee Curreri. Composer & Evolutionist. A revolutionary producer of vocalists, Lee is also known as an innovative, inspired musician and composer. Charmed with pop-culture recognition as “Bruno” from the hit movie and TV series Fame, Lee graciously acknowledges this but now prefers to affect that culture from behind the scenes. Lee studied Composition at The Mannes College of Music in NY with Charles Jones. Some credits include: producing Natalie Cole on Good to Be Back, Phil Perry ("Forever," and other tunes), Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Nicolette Larson, scoring commercials for Nike & Microsoft and scoring/composing for the TV series Chicago Hope, Dangerous Minds, Special Ops Force, and Oprah. Lee took clues from all these experiences when conceptualizing Aquabox, the first full length CD of his own original music, titled "the evolution will not be televised." | |
