Hello people who love music. Vision is not a band. I compose music in many styles and am writing music in this project for use in Film, TV, Video Games, Churches, and Songwriting collaboration with other artists. I have just completed a new 10-song album project called "Sonic Explorations". My name is David English, 30, from Chicago, IL. I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance for Classical/Flamenco guitar from Florida Atlantic University and have sung in choirs my whole life. Also, I was a music teacher for 7 years for piano and guitar in South Florida and California and even had fun conducting School of Rock programs like Jack Black. HAHA! I have been writing music in various styles for 12 years now and have performed extensively as a solo artist and in rock bands. I moved back to Chicago from California and have established some good musical connections with the industry. I'm looking to make a strong buzz around the area. The music I write has a positive and redeeming message. The lyrical format is usually state the problem and offer solutions to those problems. I am a disciple of Christ and He has inspired many of the songs I write, but this is not your typical Gospel/Christian music or a praise and worship band. This is basically music that is not afraid to talk about the darker side of life and current events, but also offers a little spiritual enlightenment. Comparable to what U2 or Depeche Mode do. Jimi Hendrix once said "Music is religion for me and there will be music in the hereafter too". Well said Jimi. In conclusion, this is a brief synopsis of my musical experiences. Thanks to everyone for all your support and when it comes to music I will always give it my all.
