| Well let's see where do we start? I'm a thirty two year old Massachusetts born and raised lunatic. I'm also a journalist. I spend my time traveling the country writing about what I see. Writing is my passion. Besides writing journalism I write poetry, screenplays, short stories, and anything else you can imagine. Many a person compares my writing style to that of Hunter S. Thompson. So I guess you could say I'm a Gonzo Journalist. FOr those of you who don't know what that is, I'll give you an explanation.It's kind of a rambling rolling style of writing that sucks in the audience and makes the reader feel as if he or she is actually experiencing the action. This technique which Hunter S. Thompson started requires hands on experience. You have to live what you write. It's like method acting. Method actors try to become their character to capture the presence of that character. Robert DiNiro in Raging Bull, Val Kilmer in The Doors, and Marlon Brando in Apocalypse Now used method acting. Basically rather than just go and report on something I throw myself into the story. I write about what I was doing during what ever it is I'm covering. For example, if I go to a concert. I don't just write about the music. I write about my entire experience at the concert. Everything I was doing there. Everything I witnessed and did. I feel it makes for a way more enjoyable reading experience compared to just writing about the basic facts of what was going on. It makes the story more personal and human.I also have a host of other interests ranging from art to juggling flaming porcupine corpses while main lining scotch. I am a strange savage beast with a dark some times twisted sense of humor. I enjoy a good book of course, as well as all kinds of outdoor activities. It's not unusual to find me at a bar sitting in a dark corner with a glass of Johnnie Walker by myself, simply people watching. I can be extremely extroverted at times and just as introverted as well.I believe life is to be experienced to it's fullest. Meaning go out there and grab it by the balls. Don't just sit around waiting for something to happen! Go make something happen. I enjoy my life and like surrounding myself with individuals who are creative intellectuals. That by no way means reserved. I personally like savage freaks bent on mayhem and lunacy. So if you think you can fit the criteria send me a friend request.
