Books:My favorite book is Transparent Things, by Nabokov. Others that impacted my life are One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich (by Solzhenitsyn) and The Metamorphosis (by Kafka). Nowadays, I read mostly nonfiction but, in general, I like to read things that teach me something or have a positive effect on my life. And when I do have the luxury of reading fiction, my favorite modern-day writer is Dean Koontz. While many writers produce an amazing book or two and then fizzle out, his work just keeps getting better. |
