By the age of eight, she was singing a range of songs from Rancheras (Mexican regional) to R&B soul. It was clear that this burgeoning talent would one day make an impact on the entertainment industry. As a teenager, Claudia traveled up and down the California coast performing at talent shows and showcases, always paying homage to her biggest influences, Mary J. Blige and Faith Evans. Even at that young age, her warm tone, vocal maturity and charisma forecasted a bright future in R&B and neo-soul music. Never forgetting her Mexican heritage and her family’s love for the traditional, the regional Ranchera songs of her culture always remained a part of Claudia’s repertoire and helped her in developing the trademark vocal range and emotional delivery of her music. She brings that Mexican soul and spirit into R&B ballads with a haunting effect that will truly earn her a wide acceptance with today’s music audience. Claudia is on the brink of taking the entertainment industry by storm. She is young, talented and beautiful, and has recently even drawn acclaim and attention as a model. Captivating and stunning, she is a pleasure to see and to hear on stage. Claudia’s latest venture is a musical and spiritual journey and collaboration with longtime hip-hop producer, Shysti, the founder of the Latin Rap Conference. Together, they are the architects of her newest set of masterpieces, an English R&B album (with Reggaeton, neo-soul and rock all interweaved) and a Ranchera album containing her Mexican favorites. Music today is in need of a refreshing sound. It is in need of cultural expression that reflects and celebrates the myriad shades and tones of our society.
