DJ KOKOB: class ‘79 and Eritrean origins. In 1991 his cousins from the States introduced him to the Hip-Hop music during a trip around Europe, and he fall in love with it immediately. As soon as he got back to Rome he joined a crew, which used to listen “HIP HOP a PALLA” – as it says in Rome –, settled in Piazzale Flaminio. Within this crew he was exposed to the heart of Hip Hop culture, the break-dance, graffiti, DJs, and offcourse Rap. Then, he moved to London in 1999, and there his friends spur him to play in several private parties.
Those new events gave him the opportunity to learn, create and eventually improve his technique and style. In 2002 he decided to return in Italy: this decision was the turning point of his carrier. In few months he became very well known in the Hip-Hop spheres. From that time DJ KOKOB has been played as DJ resident for some of the largest Nightclub in Rome Like:(Saponeria,Classico Village,Art Cafè,Goa,Scarabocchio,Supper Club,La Maison etc. etc.) Since 2004 is the official DJ of Flaminio Maphia ( an Italian rap group ).
His way to mix Rap, Ragge,R&B and Reggaeton have earned him respect and admiration by both the Nightclubs and the DJ communities. Smooth blends, hard chops, dragging mic-performance, and finally, but not least his mixtapes, have made him a favourite amongst the people of Hip-Hop nights.

DJ KOKOB: classe '79 e di origini eritree. Nel 1991 i suoi cugini statunitensi lo introducono alla musica Hip-Hop durante un viaggio in Europa, immediatamente se ne innamora. Appena tornato a Roma entrò a far parte di una crew che sentiva "HIP-HOP A PALLA" che si riuniva abitualmente a piazzale Flaminio.
Facendo parte di questa crew ha approfondito la conoscenza sulla cultura Hip Hop fino a quando si trasferi a Londra nel 1999 e con i suoi amici cominciò a suonare in vari party privati. Questa nuova esperienza gli ha dato l'opportunità di imparare e migliorare la sua tecnica nel suonare.
Nel 2002 decide di tornare in Italia e questa fu la svolta della sua carriera. In brevissimo tempo inizia a far parte delle migliori serate capitoline prima e nazionali poi. Nel 2004 diventa dj ufficiale dei Flaminio Maphia con i quali a collezionato eventi e apparizioni televisive del calibro di TRL - TOP OF THE POPS - SAN REMO....
Il suo modo di mixare Rap, Raggae, Reggaeton, RnB gli ha fatto guadagnare il rispetto sia della comunità dei club sia della comunità dei Dj, e non dimentichiamo i suoi numerosi mixtape con i quali a conquistato il suo pubblico. PROVARE PER CREDERE...
