CAIPYRANHAS Within the two years of their existence the threepiece band Caipyranhas established themselves as a hot live band. Their first CD Kind Of Trouble, with 12 own compositions, is more than well received by audience and press. Although their roots may lie in Psycho-and Rockabilly, the Caipyranhas seem to develop more and more into a hardkicking Bluesrock and Punk’n’roll band. The bluesinfluenced playing of singer and guitarist Pit Merenco, heavily accompanied by Don Tose on Doghouse bass and El Batterino on drums, blow a refreshing wind through todays musicjungle. Vocals and guitars: Pit Merenco** Contrabasso: Don Tose** Drums: El Batterino** CAIPYRANHAS Das vor zwei Jahren gegründete Trio Caipyranhas hat sich einen guten Ruf im Clubbereich erarbeitet. Auch die erste CD Kind Of Trouble, mit hauptsächlich eigenen Kompositionen, hat sehr gute Kritiken bekommen. Wurde in der Anfangszeit noch auf Psycho- und Rockabilly Wurzeln zugegriffen, entwickeln sich die Caipyranhas ohne Zweifel zur knallharten Bluesrock und Punk..n..roll Band. Das bluesige Spiel des Gitarristen und Sängers Pit Merenco wird tatkräftig von Don Tose am Doublebass und El Batterino unterstützt und sorgt für einen frischen Wind im Musikdschungel..
