More than an understanding, it is an innate, metaphysical feeling that is captured in the body and the mind and put forth into the science of technology. The technology of modern equipment blended with the intuition of how to use it to capture that infinitesimal , precise moment that truly coveys the sum total of emotion, energy and chutzpah only present in a live, musical performance. Musicians give everything they have each night, in every note, through every bead of sweat, in every second to convey how they truly feel to the audience. I am just a chic that understands this and knows how to capture it, truthfully, the way it was the moment it was conceived. I love music and I love what musicians go through to produce it. Every gut wrenching, mind bending, tear jerking nanosecond. I only seek to convey this through another medium- that of photography.
