Welcome to my tribute page for Stevie Ray Vaughan. Life Without You I built this page in honor of a man I admire, respect and love. Stevie was an incredible Musician who revived the Blues and inspired many guitarists of today. Stevie gave his all in every performance, playing with nothing but pure passion and heart. There was no mistaking that he loved his music and his fans. But with each new generation there are those who don't remember him or some who have forgotten. This page will give you a chance to see the real man behind the guitar. Stevie turned his life completely around and wanted to help others who were in the same situation. Although his plans for spreading that message were cut short that August morning, I would like to pick up where he left off by spreading his music and the message he never got a chance to finish. It's up to all of us to share our knowledge about him and not let the world forget the legend he became or what he was trying so hard to share with his fans, which he called "family". Please email me any questions you have and I will do my best to get the right answers for you. Spreading Stevie's spirit to as many people as possible is my way of saying "Thank You, Stevie." Stevie's band Double Trouble was named after an Otis Rush song. The band consisted of Tommy Shannon on Bass, Chris "Whipper" Layton on Drums and later Reese Wynans ..boards. If Stevie influenced you as a musician or in any other way, please share it with the rest of us by leaving a comment. Just as he inspired you, you may inspire someone else. Let me add that Stevie is NOT inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Please spread the word to get him in. It is judged by a mixed panel of about 800 musicians, inductees and others.
