| LORD FORBID aka Devonne Martinez was born in Brooklyn raised in Queens. Of both Black and Puerto Rican descent, he began displaying a verbal arsenal of lyrical skills at the early age of twelve. At 6'3", Lord is also well known as "Spider" for his skills on the basketball court in surrounding areas such as Astoria, Ravenswood, and Queens Bridge Projects. By the age of fifteen, the formidable option of the street game presented itself which catapulted young Lord into a Mythical Legend within his own hood. His growing knowledge of the streets combined with his athleticism took young Lord to Kentucky State University excelling as a college baller. Later hampered by an injury, Lord returned home to the streets of New York. Refocused and redirected, he set his total focus to Hip-Hop with his long time comrade Royal Flush forming a group called N.A.B. (Niggaz About Business). While working on their collective album, they released a promotional mix tape called the "THROWBACK". This mix tape combined some of the most classic beats in Hip-Hip with the slick and gritty style of N.A.B. Due to politics in the industry, Lord Forbid was forced to search new avenues to further his ambitions and Hip-Hop career. This path has led him back to where he started teaming up with close childhood friend "Big Pop". They have now formed and created what is now known as 4FrontEntertainment which is not just a name but a destination.
