Music:Member Since: 5/10/2006Band Website: myspace.com/hykumaster Band Members: HYKUMASTER: The B-boy, Graff Artist, Em-cee, Fine Artist, Beatboxer, Marine Corps Veteran, Full Circle Cadet, Personal Trainer, and Breaking Instructor. Influences: I am a BIG Naruto Shippuden fan, so right now (June 7, 2008), that Anime, along with Hayao Miyazaki's numerous works, have empowered my lyrical and artistic drives. The books entitled "Art and Fear" and "The Artist Way" have also opened me up creatively. Both of these books have me now doing my music, art and performing arts with The M-Squared Art Crew (http://www.myspace.com/msquared_art) with renewed passion. This is all fuel for my music. Also a great influence growing up ARE The Four Elements of Hip-Hop: Mc-ing, Beat-Boxing, Graffiti, DJ-ing, and Breaking; my influences are ALL old, present, and new art-forms... And...You! Biggup to Full Circle and ALL B-boys and B-girls, and ALL Break Masters. It all began for me in 1993, in high school. I was introduced and fell in love with Hip Hop, completely. My schoolmates from F. H. La Guardia High School of Music and Art & Performing Arts (1993-1998, plus the many friends I made there after graduation) were all pivotal to my multi-artistic growth. Especially Angelo and Wylee who have worked with me to this day. Subcon, especially. Many Thanks to Africa Bambata, Kool Herc, and KRS-1!! They kept it Popping. I gravitate towards underground Hip Hop plus contemporary underground music movements. I grew up listening to Bobito the Barber and Stretch Armstrong, on 89.9 FM, Thursday nights. I like House, Funk, Soul, B-boy Breakbeats, and Fela Kuti!! I like classical music and jazz. This list always gets longer....pretty much all good music of all eras, good music, music of the soul, to sum it all up. Below is the WORST KUNG FU AUDITIONS EVER clips. Enjoy.
