| ~~~~~~ Singer/Songwriter Philip Shearing started the Chemical Swings in the spring of 2006. Touring Ontario with The Get Sets in 2006, the Chemical Swings have played with acts such as These Electric Lives , Mit City , Radius & Helena , Mile Over Mecca , Uncle Daddy , and Campfire Bonfire. Since then, they have also played with The Receiver , Paul Michel , Katherine & Tyler from Telefauna , and Dukes of the Archipelago . ~ The Swings plan to record a hi-fi/lo-fi 5 song EP in the spring of 2007. ~~ Chemical Swings shows are like unicorns--everyone is always talking about them but nearly nobody whom you know has ever seen one. Take the initiative and find the indie rock equivalent of the Fountain of Youth, and bring someone along trustworthy.
