TWILIGHT MAILORDER (Europe) Common Grave has been founded by Ferenc Horvarth (vocals), Tobias Köppl (guitars) and Ralf S. (guitars) in spring 1999. Despite a variety of line-up changes the band finally began to take form and recorded its first demo "M.D.K" in 2000. But after the original drummer left Common Grave in 2002, the band had to completely reorganize. It took the band almost a year to form the new line-up. The band significantly changed it's style and incorporated Grind and Hardcore influences in their US Death Metal sound. The recording of Common Grave's first real longplayer "Dehumanized" became the next extremely important step in the band's history. Produced by Stefan Fimmers and Muhammed Suicmez (Necrophagist) the album has been completed in April 2006 and released via Twilight Distribution. Common Grave's line-up changed again since then. The band now consists of: Ferenc Horvath (Vocals) Tobias Köppl (Guitars) Georg Maier (Bass) Flo Puchert (Drums) Common Grave is currently in pre-production of their new album that will be once again recorded by Stephan Fimmer in April 2008. While new songs will represent a refined and slightly broadened sound, they are nevertheless written to kill live on stage. Performing live is still the band's major goal. In the past they could already support acts like Necrophagist, Job for a Cowboy,Immolation, Deadlock,Totenmond , Vomitory, Gorerotted, Waco Jesus and Hypnos and they are still starving for more live carnage. |
