About Me
There are many who have entered this industry, yet have forgotten that even though creative this is in fact a medium. What energy you throw out will reach many both young and old, and then ultimately return. I would love to show all who will listen that romance is very much alive and well. I would even love to be taught romance from a younger perspective. Though if your music has an Advisory Disclaimer on it. Then it may not be worth the effort. After all the music that you sample never needed a disclaimer. To hell with fortune and fame. Write what enters your spirit to say. We are here for eachother in that you may be compelled by spirit to deliver something that is not at all your lesson. Yet you are the only one who can effectively deliver it to the personality who need to receive it. The time to take a minute and consider the out come of our choices is now. What about love? We have been conditioned to believe that the best way to honor our Queen is with a promise of material things, or rough sex. The best way to honor your Queen is with a promise of Truth, Loyalty, and yourself. Everyone has forgotten about songs of being in love. Those songs that were playing on those cheap stereo(component) sets at the basement house parties with the black light on. Sure, there were many if not all of the songs leading up to sex. However those true artists were cranial enough to say things in a metaphor. We were both structured, and evolved enough to understand.I believe this Universe is so COMPASSIONATE and LOVING that we are given the opportunity to choose over and over until we choose appropriately for ourselves (No right or wrong, good or bad). When looking through Un-Authentic eyes we perceive this compassion as hard times. Make no mistake that until you choose appropriately for yourself, you will be given the continued opportunity to do so. During the Civil Rights Movement we did not have the love of the world. We had the attention of the world that was ready to move on America because of the attention with the dog bites, fire hoses, police beatings... However, once we gained the attention of the world we did not have anything to say. We have been given the opportunity once again with Hip Hop having the attention of the world. Again even with Katrina, and all of the hell that our people experience on a daily basis we do not have a damn thing to say. There are many health and social issues that could be eradicated within a week with the Universal gift of HipHop. Lets keep it both grown, and positive. Lets stop allowing the desire for industry acceptance to convince you to disrespect a complete half of our humanity (Our Women) for a few dollars. In the Myth Garden Of Eaden story We are also told that man fell asleep, and God created woman from him. Well I do not believe that myth at all. My conflict is that each and every time I look at my belly button. It tells me that it is I who come from Woman. Once we learn to be both happy, and fulfilled within our self. We will no longer be compelled to add such significance to material or exterior things. To my Foremother, I thank you from THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. Because when demanded of you, you even gave your body to save the life of my Forefather. Had you not done that there would be no me. We will find one another again. Thank you for your Authhentic Spiritual Gift. To my self motivated, positive, and supportive sista. Here is my promise to you not only if it takes all of the money. Even if it costs me my life!
