| Artist/Producer/Entertainer/Studio owner is NeeQ. Since the early age of 6 years old, NeeQ was in the spotlight as a dancer, skater, and swimmer. But it was not until the age of 17 that he found his true passion: music. Quebec City, Canada, 1999, is where and when it all began for NeeQ. Performing in showcases, local competitions and parties all around the province, NeeQ perfected his musical skills as well as his live performance charisma. Influenced by two different musical cultures, Canadian and Mauritian, NeeQ now resides in Melbourne, Australia. He promises to be a future all-star in many areas of the hip-hop world. He introduced his music on CD in 2002, with his first 3 street albums (NeeQ, T.W.O., and Worldwide Mixtape Vol.1). NeeQ performs in many clubs of the city and was privileged to support acts like Busta Rhymes, Shade Shiest, Rock the Block Tour (Ja Rule, Chingy, 112) as well as working with names such as, Jhay C, Catherine Chamoun, Cee For, Bekah, Notion, Vida Sunshine and Peraira, to mention a few. He is presently working on his new album (MusiQBox) as well as setting up his own record label and studio (OneMusiQ). NeeQ is definitely a name you want to remember and be on the lookout for... |
