| I am currently a basement solo artist, writer, composer who has played in numerous hotel and garage bands in the the Eastern Ontario Canada area. I have been playing the guitar for 41 years and there is still much to learn. If I am not learning I might be decomposing instead of composing, bummer! I play all instruments and do all vocals on my recordings, what you hear is what you get. I have been exploring slide guitar, old style finger picking to generate new sounds. I gave up on music in the 1980'after several bands, attempts to get a record deal and sold all my equipment. Last year a trip into Rideau River Music Store in Smiths Falls Ontario Canada a dream came back to life. The purpose is only about the music and having as many people as possible have a listen.It is up to you to decide if you like it or not, of course one can"t be all things to all people.That is better left to the politicians who say what you like to hear, then do the total opposite. I write about what I see, how I see it and what I think or feel about my observations. It all comes from deep inside a special place I forgot I even had. One that got lost in a mental fog of the 1960&70's and early 1980's. I took to heart "turn on, tune in and drop out. What I learned was you can't change a world looking from the outside in. I dedicate every note that my guitar cries and every written word to my loving family, most are gone now .It was their support, love that helped me tame my personal demons and escape the hell of addiction. Thanks for helping me to become a human being once again.You are remembered and never forgotten.Due to an accident and medical issues I no longer play live performances, getting a little long in the tooth anyhow!!Please support the many worthy causes out there. Womens Shelters, Boys and Girls Clubs, the fight against breast cancer which kills far to many of our loved ones. Say NO to mindless violence, war, the pollution of our planet. We have a voice let it be heard loud and clear, stand up for what is right and true.It is so easy to sit on one's ass and watch the world slip by, life is too short for wishing, wanting and doing nothing! A big thanks to all the super artists I have met so far, your support and friendship means a lot to me. Please take time to explore the many multi faceted artists you wiil find on my friends list, lots of great diversified music to hear.A special thank you to Myspace for giving me a forum to have my music heard and a place to meet so many wonderful people. Influences: I like many styles of music, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Country, etc. My main influences are Eric Clapton who proves you don't need to play 330 notes in 3 seconds to make a guitar sing, Deep Purple, Captain Beyond, Blue Oyster Cult and The James Gang with Tommy Bolins. Acoustic Influences are Neil Young, Audience and Gordon Lightfoot just to name a few. I also enjoy various Blues artists, Robert Cray, JohnnyWinters, Howlin Wolf, Muddy Waters. There are so many great Blues, Jazz, bluegrass, country artists I do not know where to begin so I named but a handful.
