About Me

The Forging of Destiny Sonic Epitaph began forming in the mid summer of 2006. Donnie Poole and Amy Garvin started the project with a desire to bring an unrepresented genre of music to the Louisville area. Our main goal is simply to entertain and give what we can of a new element to our town's music scene. The European "Symphonic Metal" sound has never made it to the Bluegrass, but we're bringing it! With time we finally located Joe Schaefer, an axe grinder that could not be more likeminded and as a bonus, extremely talented too. The three of us began working on our first song while still looking for the rest of the band.

Despite a false start, the band continued to be patient and unwaivering in our dedication to see this project get off the ground. As winter drew near to an end, frustration gave way to renewed energy when we found Cristina Mullins. With vocal range from angelic to wicked, she is a front woman that fits perfectly. May of 07 drew to a close and we found the final members of our group, as Dmitri Jablonski joined in on guitar and Joe Carter came in on bass. Their respectable range of influences and ability would at last make Sonic Epitaph whole. For those interested in the progress of the band, please visit often.
