El proyecto de LILITH,aunque al principio no se llamaba así, nace con la amistad de Agnes y Albert, en el 2002. Graban una maqueta en los estudios Cat Fly que les supuso su primer golpe de suerte pues llegó a manos de una de las promotoras más importantes de España, Gamerco y mas tarde también llegó a manos de DR. Music. La banda ahora ya bautizada como LILITH se estrenó en la sala Sidecar de Barcelona en el año 2002, y poco después tendrían la suerte de abrir el show en la sala Riviera de Madrid de la que por entonces era la nueva banda de Billy Corgan (alma mater de Smashing Punkings), Zwan. Después de esto vino una gira con Staind y ganaron varios concursos como el Foc, Ega Rock y Lagarto Rock 2003 donde tocaron junto a Saratoga. Empezaron el 2003 con dos giras espectaculares: una con Deep Purple y la siguiente con The Pretenders, en la que LILITH mostró su faceta acústica, llamada Angels. Por esa época salían con frecuencia en las revistas especializadas de rock y trabaron amistad con el mítico locutor de radio CarlosPina. En el 2004 Tuvieron la oportunidad de volver a actuar en formato acústico junto a Bob Dylan en el Poble Español de Barcelona, gracias a esto aparecen en un documental dedicado a la estrella del folk americano, llamado "las huellas de Dylan". En verano abrieron el Xacobeo 2004 paticipando en un cartel de lujo, junto a The Darkness, Iggy Pop, Massive Attak y Chemical Brothers. Cartel en el que también se encontraba Lou Reed, The Cure, Muse o The Coors entre otros artistas. LILITH fue el único grupo español del certamen. Ese mismo verano coincidieron en el Foc, esta vez no en la sección del concurso sino como artistas invitados, con Fangoria con quien ya habían compartido escenario un año antes en el concurso San Adrián del que habían quedado finalistas. Más tarde pudieron volver a San Adrián para participar en una Jam junto a dos de los componentes de una de las mejores bandas de rock de los 90, Barricada. Durante el 2005 cambiaron la formación y también de idioma; la gira con Bryan Adams y posteriormente con Toy Dolls ya las hicieron con el repertorio en castellano. En verano volvieron a coincidir en un festival con Iggy Pop. En enero del 2006 dieron un concierto en TV 2 para el mítico programa de Paco Perez Bryan, Los conciertos de radio 3. También ganaron el concurso Fortuna Sounds 2006 y el Belladurmiente 2006, el premio de este último se materializó en un Ep que presentaron el dÌa 20 de octubre en un concierto junto con Sex Museum en AlmerÌa. En setiembre 2007 participaron en el ya consolidado Festival Altaveu Frontera, de Sant Boi de Llobregat En Octubre 2007 ha salido a la luz su primer LP "No te RINDas", de 13 temas, editado por Batiendo Records y que ya está a la venta en la web www.lilithrock.com y en FNAC y Tiendas Tipo. Durante todo el 2008 están presentando a lo largo y ancho de España este primer trabajo discográfico, destacando la participación en el festival Rock in Rio. -- The band story began many years ago when Agnes and Albert met within a summer gang. Albert was an Iron Maiden supporter and Agnes was a Nirvana fan. They decided to mix their passions in a band named Elektra that would become the germ of LILITH. Some years later, they renamed the band as Malicia and in 2000 they recorded their first demo which included 4 songs. However, it was their second demo - recorded in 2002 in CatFly studios and produced by Josep Jimenez- that turned on their first stroke of luck: they felt into the hands of Rita from Gamerco, who became the bands guardian angel. This demo already included early versions of Spinway, MM, Cat, Lolipop, and Inside. Just while recording in Catfly Studios, Antonio and Beth, from Gargola, joined the band. They would stay with LILITH until 2005. The debut of the new formation took place in Sidecar. A few months later they were appointed as the opening band for Zwan, the new band created by Billy Corgan after the dissolution of Smashing Pumpkings. After this, they also toured with Staind and they won several contests such as Foc and So, Ega Rock, and Lagarto Rock. Things were working! And 2003 was even better. They toured with Deep Purple. Then they toured with Pretenders, allowing them to show their unplugged face. LILITH started to appear on the music press. At that time they became friends of the well-known radio presenter Carlos Pina, who gave them the best advice they have ever received and who predicted that the way they would have to walk was going to be very hard! In 2004, they opened Bob Dylans show in Barcelona and they appeared in a documentary dedicated to the folk musician. They also opened Xacobeo 2004, playing with the Darkness, Iggy Pop, Massive Atack and Chemical Brothers. During these years they also shared stage with Spanish bands such as Barricada or Fangoria. After Xacobeo 2004, Beth and Antonio left the band. 2005 was a year of changes. Several drummers and bass players came until Joan and Rafa joined the band at the end of the year. They also decided to change language. LILITH would sing in Spanish from then on. During this eventful year they also toured with Bryan Adams and played again with Iggy Pop. During 2007, they have signed their first contract with a record company, and have recorded their first LP called "No te R.I.N.D.as", already released. |

Nombre: Albert Instrumento: Guitarra Casi nació pegado a una guitarra, de adolescente tocaba en bandas heavys de la escuela. Actualmente comparte con Agnes un proyecto paralelo a LILITH llamado Angels en que exploran su faceta más introspectiva y acústica. Nombre: Rafael Instrumento: bajo Desde 1993 (primera vez que pisó un escenario) con Esputo nunca ha dejado de aporrear las cuerdas. Integrando formaciones como Stored (ex_the ignorants), Pequeña Masa Rebelada(ex_epilectic Fish) o Desequilibrio. Ha pisado multitud de escenarios predicando que el rock no ha muerto.
