| E' stata tutta colpa dei Kiss... Di un vecchio fan dei Kiss, che ha messo in testa a due 16enni di fare un gruppo rock di sole femminucce! E così Stefania (chitarra ritmica, voce) e Karima (che ha preso il basso in mano per la prima volta in quell'occasione) decisero di cercare di mettere insieme le Cherry Lips. Quasi per caso, entra a far parte del gruppo Giulia (chitarra solista)...Qualcuno in grado di fare assoli finalmente!! E dopo molte peripezie la formazione si completa nel novembre del 2005 con l'arrivo di Serena alla batteria. La strada musicale naturale per tutte è quella dellHard Rock, del Glam e del RocknRoll degli anni 70 e 80, con cover che vanno dagli AC/DC agli Sweet, dai Kiss a Suzi Quatro, dai T Rex a Joan Jett. Nella loro finora breve storia, le Cherry Lips hanno aperto concerti a Bullfrog, Thee STP, Angel City Outcasts (da Los Angeles) e gli inglesi Anti Product. Hanno inoltre suonato ad importanti manifestazioni come il Sound Expo (fiera veronese della musica), partecipato e arrivate prime al concorso LAMS Rock Contest (dellomonima scuola di musica), avuto le prime buone recensioni on line ed interviste radio. Ora le Cherry Lips sono pronte per la registrazione del loro primo album... The idea of an all girl band started way back in 2003. The main problem was finding the musicians... Stefy, with some experience in singing and guitar playing, starts the project together with Karima who picks up the bass guitar to be in the band. The band starts having a more serious sound when Giulia joins in as lead guitarm. After two drummers come and go finally Serena is found in November 2005, her tough attitude convinces everyone! Since then Cherry Lips have developed a much stronger sound and attitude, today they are one of the few female rock bands on the north east italian scene!
