About Me |

| I’ve always had music around me. My maternal grandfather was a heck of a fiddle player, and my paternal grandmother was a top-notch organist. My folks played ’beautiful music’ for whales. Actually, that was WAYL on the radio. I started playing piano in 2nd grade, and began playing violin in 4th grade. Several years of study would find me playing with the state’s top youngsters in the Twin Cities Youth Symphony, and again in The Atlanta Youth Symphony. I would discover the bass guitar in high school and played keys and bass in a band with my friend Jason below.
I stopped playing sometime around 1990 and pursued a career in broadcasting, which has allowed me to travel & live in places like Las Vegas and Seattle. Over the years, I’ve done time at KKLZ-FM (Vegas), KZOK-FM (Seattle), KXLP-FM (Minnesota), and most recently KCLH-FM (mornings in Wisconsin), along with a handful of other stations in Minnesota and Nebraska.
