I used listen to Heartless crew on the radio (mission fm) and at clubs, and I like the way that they entertain people. So I purchased some decks. Me and a group of friends started to DJ and MC. This all started when I was in my younger days in secondary school HOW CAN I GET INTO DJING MYSELF? I would say if you are serious about pursuing a career in Djing, firstly set up a home studio and buy sum decks. I have a studio loft conversion in my house which is "The Djing Room." Practise mixing in your free-time, and try to sett up with a radio station to get air time or dj for gigs and parties. Also collect Vinylz and use those for mixes and creating playlists. I have over 3000. |
