| Chreesee took his first guitar lessons at the age of 12. His teacher of the following 5 years, Michael Donoghue, not only introduced him to the basics of the classical guitar, but also focused on rock, pop, funk, jazz etc.. The main idea was to play AND understand music (in all aspects). Chreesee alias Christian Scholtysik started to compose own melodies, phrases and licks soon and, at the age of 15, wrote his first song "allright". At that time he had already played in a few bands and projects. In 2004 he joined the hip-hop band "Brudaring Baseband" as guitarist and backround singer to enter the band contest "Sprungbrett", which is organized every year by the youth culture centre "Feierwerk" in Munich. Besides the contest (at which they finally were 2nd winner), the band also played in locations like "backstage" and "theatron" in and around Munich. After the contest, while some musicians left the band to concentrate on solo projects or other crews/bands, chreesee and the rest of the ex-brudaring band built up their own recording studio called "collaboratorium". Unfortunately, the studio was given up because of financial reasons. Chreesee is now doing his own thing!

______________________Chreesee nahm seinen ersten Gitarrenunterricht mit 12 Jahren. Sein Lehrer der folgenden 5 Jahre, Michael Donoghue, machte ihn nicht nur mit der klassischen Gitarre, sondern auch mit Rock, Pop, Funk, Jazz etc. vertraut. Die Hauptidee des Unterrichts war Musik zu spielen UND (in allen Aspekten) zu verstehen. Chreesee alias Christian Scholtysik begann bald, eigene Melodien, Phrasen und Licks zu komponieren und schrieb schließlich, im Alter von 15 Jahren, seinen ersten Song "allright". Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatte er schon in mehreren Bands und Projekten gespielt. 2004 trat er der Hip-Hop Band "Brudaring Baseband" als Gitarrist und Backroundsänger bei, um mit ihr beim "Sprungbrett" - ein Bandwettbewerb, der jedes Jahr vom Jugendkulturzentrum "Feierwerk" in München veranstaltet wird - teilzunehmen. Neben dem Kontest (bei dem sie ganz knapp 2ter wurden) spielte die Band auch in Locations wie dem "Backstage" und "Theatron" (Olympiapark) in und um München. Während manche Musiker die Band verließen um sich auf Soloprojekte (z.B. DJ Shogun) oder andere Bands (z.B. Fertig, Los!) zu konzentrieren, baute Chreesee mit dem Rest der Band das Studio "Collaboratorium" auf. Leider wurde das Studio aus finanziellen Gründen wieder aufgegeben. Jetzt macht Chreesee sein eigenes Ding!_______________________________________________________
