| Cool jazz, pop and solid rock mixed with traditional electronic music and funk. This live-band, with front man (DJ/producer) Daniel Ortgiess, was a great success during the last Amsterdam Dance Event, Europes main electronic and dance music conference (2005). During his live-shows these very talented musicians assist Ortgiess: vocalist Leandra Mekking (a.k.a Lady Lee), Joni Scholten on bass, Virgil Rerimassie on guitar Wouter Rentema on drums/percussion and finally Thijs Schrijnemaker on keys. They know each other from the Rockacademie (rockacademy), where theyre studying the fine art of music, but also the business side of music. Together they form the crossover-dance band Chili Con Fusion. Averse to musical limitations, with a broad scale of musical emotions and styles, these young and energetic pioneers bring electronic music to all their fantastic live-shows.Funky live-house in full-speed tempo and incredible tightly played, in which influences from funk, soul, jazz, pop, rock and house are effortlessly mixed up.
