LANDSEMK is a heavy metal band that born on 2004 in the city of Barcelona (Venezuela). The band comes from the split of Penumbra Leal and the reencounter of some of their members that had played before Penumbra Leal under the name of Penumbra, band that started on 1998, and who played with great national bands like; Gillman, Krueger, Resistencia, Arkangel, Stratuz, Cronos, Torre de Marfil, Metempsicosis, Maquina Animal, Lignum Crucis, Leaves, Painless, Scythe and others.

After years, searching for a new and innovative sound and because of the departure of the vocalist and drummer of Penumbra Leal, these guys decided to join once more under a new name that means a new beginning for them. Beginning that started on April 17th in Puerto la Cruz city at the War Festival 2004, where the band was introduced for the first time as Landsemk that was conformed by: Daniel Lagoa on Vocals, Francisco Velazquez on Lead and Rhythm Guitars, Ignacio Rondon on Lead and Rhythm Guitars, Eduardo Cardenas on Bass, Jose Barcenas on Keyboards and Enzo Khayat on Drums. Then, togheter with their guest vocalist en recording, Sebastian de Souza (from Metempsicosis), had a great answer from the audience.

That year, the line-up had some changes. On August 28th, in Puerto la Cruz city, debuts on Landsemk, Jorge Solorzano, replacing Enzo Khayat on drums. Then, on October, joins the band Francisco Pagano on bass, and previous bassist Eduardo Cardenas, takes guitar togheter with Ignacio Rondon. With this new line-up, Landsemk makes a great show on Bolivar city at the Overload Fest 3 and with the band, great guests from the national metal scene, like: Juan Manuel Rivas (ex-Darknoir, Lunar Dementia) and once again, Sebastian de Souza (from Metempsicosis), playing cover from Iron Maiden, Manowar and Helloween as a tribute and then performing the promo song called Jamas Perdere La F... Between July and Septembre of 2005, there were new changes on the line-up. A new keyboard player called Alejandro Vargas joins the band, also a new guitar player and drummer are added called Marcel Espinoza and Rigo Quintero respectively and Eduardo Cardenas plays bass once again replacing Francisco Pagano who left the band with Jose Barcenas and Jorge Solorzano to dedicate to their own projects.

Landsemk has joined on scene with famous national bands like: Arkangel, stratuz, La Misma Gente, Resistencia, Krueger, Tinieblas, Lignum Crucis, Grand Bite, Metempsicosis, Tierra del Drag..n, Torre de Marfil, Lunar Dementia, Gore Asylum, Psicosis, Natastor, Exsecror, Noctis Imperium, Pugnators, among others; On diferent cities of the country like Puerto la Cruz, Barcelona, Caracas, Cuman.., Puerto Ordaz, Ciudad Bol..var, Matur..n, among others and on diferent festivals like: Gillman fest, Descarga Extrema, Overload, Premios Metal Hecho En Venezuela (they obtained 4 nominations for this awards), Ariah fest among others. The international bands which landsemk has played are: Dios Salve a la Reina, The Cash and Social Shit (from Argentina) and representing Venezuela togheter with Helloween (from Germany) on El Poliedro de Caracas
