Music:I wish I could play an instrument other than my own. When I was younger I wanted to be a rock star, so I have great respect for anyone pursuing music. That being said, there is a dearth of great music today. A lot of cookie-cutter stuff and artists that are in it for the fame and not the pure aesthetics of music. If you've ever heard me sing, you would appreciate just about anyone else. |

Movies:Currently I am working my way through the American Film Institute's Top 100 American movies of all-time. I've seen around 75 of them. Of course wouldn't you know they would come out with a new list as I was trying to watch all 100 original films. So it's actually around 120 movies that I am trying to see. |

Television:Not much of a TV show fan. I watch the Travel Channel a lot, sports, as well as the aforementioned movies. |

Books:I am currently trying to read the Modern Library's Top 100 English Language novels of the 20th century. Right now I am a little over halfway through. I also have an interest in foreign languages and cultures and intend to use my free time to become more proficient in this area. |

Heroes:I have three heroes: a political prisoner, a poet, and a porn star. All come from diverse backgrounds and are likely not the people you would think if you knew me. I believe parents should be heroes to their children. Some of our greatest heroes are people you would never know because they shun the spotlight in their selfless efforts to help humanity. |
