Been at the wheels of steal for over 10 years now and still going strong.
First got the passion for drum and bass when listening to Stevie Hyper D with Blackmarket and thought 'that’s what I want to do'.
Started playing on pirate radio stations about 5 years ago and started getting sets in my home town Luton and was just trying to get my name out there as fast as I could.
Then me and a friend of mine who was co running some of the free illegal parties got together to form the HIVE night and we went on to do some wicked nights in Luton until finances stopped us from doing any more.
It was around about that time I started to use three decks and today I am dependant on three turntables. If I get to a club and they only have two decks or only 2 channels on the mixer it feels like someone has cut one of my arms off and to anyone who knows me I need my three decks to provide sounds never heard before.
As this was going on I was also in Westminster College studying sound engineering and after 3 years was fully qualified.
Last year I played at earls court along side Dj Pogo, Cutmaster Swift, and Brandon Block. I also played on the DMC stage at Donnington at the BPM show hosted by Swift. Along with this I have had loads of sets on countless internet radio sites, pirate stations and clubs in Luton, Bedford, MK, Hitchin, Dunstable, and in London.
Since then I have become part of the Drum and Bass Arena family (Or the ‘Big Yellow Bus Family’ as Evil describes it) and have been playing regularly on their DNBA TV Live and also have been supporting many of their events held around and in London. In 2008 I played for Drum and Bass Arena at the Seeme Festival in Bulgaria to over 1500 people with Subterra, Aggers, Logan D and Noisia. This was one of the greatest experiences of my career so far.
At the moment I am looking forward to a future with Drum and Bass Arena and the drum and bass scene in general and hope to get some of my production ou there and one day to start my own label showcasing the talent in the Drum and Bass scene.
