It was a reunion of many musicians of different bands that wore related with the reggae movement of the city. The joy of playing reggae music and to carry, and spread all the good vibes, and most important of all the message of universal love and unity, was the seed and the starting point for Sativa. Since ska, skanking in a roots reggae style, passing by the dub experiences and also with a taste of new roots, Sativa its a mix of all jamaican flavours in one potion. Making the first part of many important reggae artists, such as Horace Andy, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Jimmy Riley, Mad Professor, Gentleman, Patrice and many others. Sativa try to carry all the message of Jah to all the people, and bring conscience to the youth of today to live clean in a positive way of life.
