Veilside's members have played in local bands for many years. Members have been involved in local acts including Onyx, Khaos Theory, and Altered State of Consciousness (ASC). Vocalist Chris Heller's departure in 2005 led to the addition of Tony Engel on lead vocals in 2006. After toiling around, playing mostly to the four walls of their practice studio, the band has come "back out of hibernation" to play a contributor to the local scene in 2007. 2007 was a great year for Veilside, as their return was met with great reviews. 2008 promises to be even BETTER!! The current lineup consists of Ron Thomas on drums and vocals, Jon Badalamenti on guitar and vocals, "Cabo" Bob Hilton on bass, and Tony Engel on lead vocals.
