You have voted us on to the 6th (!!!) place of the Battles of the Bands from the Sonic Seducer, Germany's leading Goth and Wave music magazine. The readers of Sonic Seducer vote once a year the best newcomer, 50 bands were in the finale round and now Masters of Dark Fire got the great rank no 6. Vielen Dank! Ihr habt uns auf den 6. (!!!) Platz des Bandwettbewerbs des Sonic Seducers, Deutschlands führender Gothic- und Wave Musikzeitschrift, gewählt. Die Leser des Sonic Seducers wählen einmal im Jahr die besten Newcomer. 50 Bands waren für das Finale nominiert und Masters of Dark Fire sind nun auf dem tollen sechsten Platz gelandet. MASTERS OF DARK FIRE :::wild, dark and loud::: Masters of Dark Fire are a Gothic/Dark Rock/Metal Band from Berlin, established in 2004. Line-up: ASGAR (vocals), Rob (drums), ToXiCa (bass guitar, vocals), FROST (guitar, keyboard) The style of Masters of Dark Fire is mainly assigned to Dark Rock. The dark mostly English lyrics are accompanied with powerful application. Catchy rock songs, orchestral hymns and soulful ballads are part of the repertoire of the four musicians. The songs are accumulated with keyboard sounds and samples, to provoke a voluminous overall impression, without missing out the beat. The band has had performances nationwide, amongst others in Berlin (K17, Knaak Club), in Hamburg (Indra, Studio One), and at some festivals. As support of the Jack Whites Allstar-Band "The Raconteurs", Masters of Dark Fire rocked 1500 visitors in 2006 at the E-Werk in Cologne and at the Postbahnhof in Berlin. At the Battle of the Bands of the "Sonic Seducer", Masters of Dark Fire reached the final round. Line-up: ASGAR (Gesang), Rob (Schlagzeug), ToXiCa (Bass, Gesang), FROST (Keyboard, Gitarre) Der Stil von Masters of Dark kann am treffendsten als Dark Rock bezeichnet werden. Die düsteren, meistens englischen Texte werden getragen von kraftvoller Musik. Eingängige Rocksongs, orchestrale Hymnen und gefühlvolle Balladen gehören zum Repertoire der vier Musiker. Die Songs werden durch Keyboardzuspielungen und Samples angereichert, so dass ein voluminöser Sound entsteht, bei dem der Beat aber nicht zu kurz kommt. Die Band hatte deutschland weit Auftritte u.a. im Berliner K 17, Knaack Club, im Hamburger Indra und Studio One sowie in zahlreichen weiteren Clubs und auf einigen Festivals. Als Support von Jack Whites Allstar-Band The Raconteurs rockten Masters of Dark Fire 2006 im E-Werk Köln und im Postbahnhof Berlin vor jeweils 1500 Zuhörern. Beim Battle of the Bands des Sonic Seducers haben es Masters of Dark Fire in die Endrunde geschafft.
